Clouds and rains in Prague

It's pretty cloudy and raining all the time in Prague now. And there is no good forecast for the next week neither.

I also posted the second pic of my "study material" for Geography test. Believe me that I think of a lot of you while going through all the European countries :) And you know what, post a comment with a number under which Czech Republic is located on my map and if you're the first one with the right number I'll send you a print of any photo you like on this site. Opening

Not so much rain

We expected storms and never ending rain after almost tropical day in Prague. But just a few raindrops and that's it? I'm a bit disappointed.

Chvalska tvrz and Chateaus near Prague

I think you're getting familiar with my shoes :) Awfully early morning (for Sunday) at Chvalska tvrz. A nice place in the Northern end of Prague. But for us only the beginning of the three chateaus journey:

... all of them are in the "about one hour" range from Prague.

Wednesday Doorway - Zbraslav selection

I like how they have the whole front wall made from different windows.






This is one of my favorite houses in Zbraslav. It looked abandoned for the last years and finally somebody started to work on it. It has a stunning garden, too.

The Joy Box

Before they started the big reconstruction of old Tesco at Narodni trida there were this "Joy Box" hidden in the farthest place of the store. Spooky and cute at the same time.

Saturday out of Prague

Yesterday I saw this photo with Firebird at Laurie's GLIMPSES OF SOUTH PASADENA so I thought I'd share mine photo from today, too. Even more, I took a picture of a similar Firebird, this one belongs to my friend. My other friends have Cadillacs :)

Korunni Majova - kiss before drinking

Korunni Majova is the new drink specially for May - the month of love. I tried to translate the name for you but it doesn't sound that nice in English as it does in Czech. It would be like May Cola or Mayish(?) Cola if this was a product from Cola Cola. Anyway, it tastes great... you can feel the love and spring in it. It's true :) And they have cute commercials as well here, here and here.

Oh, and it has the funny sentences on it like "Kiss [the bottle] before drinking".
